Poetry Matters host Teen Workshop
Third of Six Part Series
Martinez, Georgia: The Poetry Matters Project and Columbia County Library team up to sponsor the third workshop for teens at the library. The workshop titled How to Submit Prize Winning Poetry will take place from 4-5:30 p.m at Columbia County Library, 722 Evans Town Center Blvd. in the lower level classroom. The workshop facilitator will be Lucinda Clark, founder and contest coordinator of the Poetry Matters Project. The event is free and open to the public. The featured workshop will review the steps that a writers/poets would take to submit their work for consideration. Lucinda Clark, the workshop facilitator, has experience as judge for Poetry Matters Lit Prize, Ben Franklin Awards and Global Ebook Awards and Laws of Life Essay Contest. Titles she has published have also won numerous awards.
